CNN reveals 8 Donald Trump's 'interests and ties' to Russia (Photos/documents)

During Wednesday's first press conference for the incoming U.S President Donald Trump, he finally admitted to Russian interference in the U.S elections but stated categorically that he had no business deals, interests or ties to Russia or it's president Vladmir Putin.

Now, CNN, has revealed in a new report, that Donald Trump has about 8 'interests and ties' to Russia. Read the full report after the cut...

1.) Miss Universe Moscow
In 2013 Trump made millions when he partnered with Russian billionaire Aras Agalarov to host Miss Universe in Moscow.

2.)Trump Tower Moscow
An attempt to build a Trump Tower in Moscow fell through before it began. CNN didn't find any projects that were actually completed in Russia.
In a 2007 deposition, Trump was asked about the proposal for the project.
"It was a Trump International Hotel and Tower. It would be a nonexclusive deal, so it would not have precluded me from doing other deals in Moscow, which was very important to me."

3.) Trump Vodka
Trump put down no money, slapped his name on a brand and claimed royalties. Drinks Americas Holdings actually made the vodka. However, the company's former CEO told CNNMoney they didn't make much headway into the Russian market.

All they got was a single deal to sell 8,000 cases of vodka, a fraction of the 100,000 cases they sold worldwide. There's no evidence that it's still being sold.
The real value, however, was the photo-op.
"If you can sell vodka made in the Netherlands to Russians in gold bottles with 'Trump' on them, and wealthy Russians think this is good vodka, this is a marketing coup," said Patrick Kenny, former CEO of Drinks Americas Holdings.

4.) Palm Beach mansion sale
Trump sold a mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, to Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev for $95 million.

5.) "Russians" investing in Trump
In 2008, Donald Trump Jr. said Trump's businesses "see a lot of money pouring in from Russia."
"And in terms of high-end product influx into the US, Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets; say in Dubai, and certainly with our project in SoHo and anywhere in New York. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia. There's indeed a lot of money coming for new-builds and resale reflecting a trend in the Russian economy and, of course, the weak dollar versus the ruble," he said.

6.) Trademarks
Trump hired the law firm Sojuzpatent to file at least eight trademarks in Russia between 1996 and 2008, including "Trump," "Trump Home" and "Trump Tower."

7.)The Bayrock Group
Trump partnered with the Bayrock Group, a company run by Soviet immigrants, and according to a lawsuit filed, financed by Russian and Kazakhstan money. Together, they developed Trump properties in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and New York.
They also planned on opening a Trump Tower in Moscow. However, Trump said in a deposition that the plan fell through after media reports began questioning Trump's net worth. The partners with Russian ties in the United States backed out.

8.) Paul Manafort
Trump's ties to Russia go beyond business deals. His former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, had connections with Russia that go much deeper, including to Viktor Yanukovych, Ukraine's former president who fled the country. Yanukovych, who is now in Russia, "called upon Vladimir Putin to send Russian troops into Ukraine," according to a White House statement.
Manafort's company, Davis Manafort International LLC, retained Edelman to work on "Yanukovych's visibility in the US and Europe."

A lawsuit filed by Ukraine's former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko describes Manafort as a "key adviser to President Yanukovich and other Ukraine political figures since approximately 2003."

Yaya Toure rejects £430,000 a week salary from Chinese club to remain at Man City.

33 year old Ivory Coast international, Yaya Toure has rejected a mammoth £430,000 a week salary from Jiangsu Suning in the Chinese Super League to remain at the EPL with Manchester City.

He was first contacted last summer, but rejected the Chinese club's offer and has now rejected their offer this January too.

The player who started the season on the fringes of the team, after falling out with Pep Guardiola over his agent's comments about the coach, has returned back to the first team picture, after apologizing to Pep Guardiola and now wants to remain at the club till he retires..

The staggering offer, according to Dimitry Seluk, Toure's agent, was very tempting but Toure opted to stay at Manchester City where he is now inside the final six months of his £220,000 per week contract.

 Seluk told Sky Sports NHQ:
"Yaya wants to play at the highest level. He's happy at Manchester City. Yaya likes football more than money." ''He rejected a £430,000 salary from Jiangsu Suning'
Also speaking to Russian media outlet Championat:
“I do not fully agree with Witsel, with this kind of money you can give up… More important is the mentality of a footballer. There are people who like money, and those who like football. “For all the money in China, there is not a single player at the level of Yaya Toure… I am sure he will play at the highest level for another five years.”

SPORTS from global sight view GSVTRUSTWINDOWS.COM (Google's family)>>>'I view Cristiano Ronaldo as a great player' - Lionel Messi says

5 Time Ballon D'or winner, Lionel Messi, has heaped praise on his rival, four time Ballon D'or Winner and one time FIFA 'Best' winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, saying Ronaldo has achieved many things and he has mutual respect for the Real Madrid man, dispelling the myth that the pair are huge rivals who resent one another.

Messi, who missed out on FIFA's 'The Best' Awards gala last Monday, citing match preparation duties, also took out time to praise England's all time record goalscorer Wayne Rooney, saying he has always respected the Manchester United captain, who is just one goal shy of breaking Sir Bobby Charlton's all time goal scoring record for Manchester United.

Speaking to Coach Mag, Messi said:
“There is a mutual respect. I view him as a great player who has achieved great things because that is exactly what he is. My motivation, though, has always come from wanting to do well for Barcelona and Argentina, and the fans.”
“Over the years we have faced many British teams in Europe and come up against many good players, but I have always had a big respect for Wayne Rooney. He has played at the highest level for many years and is one of the special players of the generation.”

CNN>>> Updates, US ambassador to the UN blasts Russia as 'major threat facing the U.S' and rejects Trump's attack on intel agencies

The United States ambassador to the UN, Samantha Power, has blasted Russia, saying the country is a major threat to the U.S and that incoming U.S President Donald Trump's attacks on the Intel agencies is uncalled for, as the agencies work for the good of America and not the Democratic or Republican party.

According to her, Trump shouldn't have denigrated U.S Intel Agencies after they concluded that Russia worked to favor Trump in the November Presidential elections.
"What is not healthy is for a party or its leaders to cast doubt on a unanimous, well-documented assessment of our intelligence community that a foreign government is seeking to harm our country," Power said at the Washington-based Atlantic Council on Tuesday''
She described Russia as "a major threat facing our nation" said the US can cooperate with Russia where possible, but not to the disadvantage of American interests and global stability. Citing

Russia's invasion of Crimea, and Russia's numerous interference with democracies of European countries, Power warned that America's "values, our security, our prosperity, and our very way of life are tied"
"United States and its closest partners must come together to prevent Russia from succeeding." "Russia's actions are not standing up a new world order," Power said, "they are tearing down the one that exists. This is what we are fighting against -- having defeated the forces of fascism and communism, we now confront the forces of authoritarianism and nihilism." Power said there should be high-level contacts between the US and Russia, but cautioned that the relationship "can't be one that glosses over the past or papers over the fact that you have a leader who has his own opponents intimidated and in some cases killed."
''Not only would weakening measures against Russia spur more dangerous actions by Russia, it would embolden other rule-breakers like Iran and North Korea, which are constantly testing how far they can move the line without triggering a response."
